Ron Braithwaite

Ron Braithwaite is the retired Chief of Pathology at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette , Louisiana . He presently resides on a ranch in South Texas directly on the Rio Grande where he enjoys studying the Spanish Conquest of Mexico and making exploratory trips into Mexico . Skull Rack is his first novel; the story of Rodrigo de la Pena and Enrique Mendoza is to be continued in his sequel Hummingbird God, which will be published by Harbor House in 2008.
