About Us
F ounded in 1997, Harbor House is headquartered in a historic cottage on the banks of the Savannah River in downtown Augusta, Georgia. Harbor House and its imprints seek to publish the best in original adult fiction and non-fiction. Our current collection of titles includes contemporary non-fiction (social commentary, memoirs, inspirational, biographies), New Age and Unexplained Events, thrillers, Civil War fiction and nonfiction and horror. We are expanding our focus to include regional and local titles about distinguished citizens, history and culture.
BatWing Press is one of our newest imprints. Launched in 2005, BatWing is dedicated to publishing the finest in original horror fiction, with supernatural themes ranging from ghosts and hauntings to monsters and psychologically and visually shocking themes.
The Civil War Classics series premieres serious Civil War fiction inspired by true events. This imprint also publishes nonfiction works about noted battles, strategies and campaigns, as well as biographies and memoirs.
Our Southern Winds imprint, launched with the modern woman in mind, offers romantic themes with historical and contemporary settings.

Peggy Cheney is Editorial Director and Assistant Publisher. Peggy oversees editorial operations, including acquisitions and editorial quality, and handles book production and general office administration.

Nathan Elliott is Creative Director of Harbor House. Nathan oversees the visual presentation of the publishing company, including book covers,
design and marketing materials.
Cathy Shaw is the Director of Marketing and Publicity for Harbor House Books. Cathy will be working with Harbor House's active and newly signed authors, promoting their books through signings, speaking events and publicity efforts.

E. Randall Floyd started Harbor House in 1997. Since then he has published 40 successful titles. He became Founding Publisher of Pillars of Augusta Life magazine in Sept. 2007.
